Sometimes I feel myself walking a little too heavy for my own liking. Or I’ll catch myself taking life a little too seriously. A day will start out just fine but then I’ll second guess how I look in the mirror before I leave the house, and then someone will give me a strange look on the train, or a friend will say something that for some reason hurts me more then it should. All those nasty false demons in my head come out to play, and Little by little a day that started out tall ends with me walking heavy and a little crumpled, and certainly not loving life the way I should.
Days like this feel like a cage to me, and don’t we all just want to be free? The best feeling in the world though is when you can stop yourself short of really taking in all those heavy things from a day and just shake it out instead. Dance it off, laugh it away, do that thing that makes you feel right and good inside again.
